The Giro d'Italia, one of the professional cycling races was Founded in 1909. It is 210km from Alpago to Corvara. Giro d 'Italia to Alta Badia is the most difficult and second biggest professional cycling race in the world. Maratona dles Dolomites
Dolomite Marathon started on July 12, 1987 and has grown to what it is today, more than 9000 cyclist take part in the various categories and now Maratona dles Dolomites has becomes one of the most important amateur cycling events in all of Europe. The 138km Dolomites Marathon is an annual single-day road bicycle race covering seven spectacular mountains passes in the Dolomites.
Sellaronda Bike Day
This traditional bike day is the ideal activity for every cyclist who loves the mountains. It is the green, non-competitive event, and is open to everyone. It takes place twice a year, at the end of June and September. On these dates the four passes around the Sella Massif (Passo Gardena, Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi and Passo Campolongo) will be closed and only accessible to cyclists!
