Summer activities for children
in Alta Badia
Various playgrounds, themed trails and infinite possibilities to meet both domestic and wild animals make Alta Badia one of the most popular destinations in the Dolomites for families with children of every age. The smallest ones will adore the easy routes, accessible for prams and strollers, where they can sleep lulled by river gurgling and birdsongs. Such paths lead from the Serena Hotel to Lech dla Lunch lake, to Oies and along Tru do l'Ega, a charming itinerary by the joyful Alpine stream Gadera that will take you to La Villa, San Cassiano or Corvara. Elder children will be fascinated by the territory at the foot of the Santa Croce massif, full of various games (such as stamp collecting and treasure hunts), encounters with farm animals and themed trails like Tru di Tiers with wood sculptures representing wild animals of the Dolomites. A real uphill magnet for families are the Movimënt parks, located on the plateau between Piz Sorega, Piz la Ila and Pralongià and connected in summer by a marvellous maze of trails for hiking and mountain biking. In the valley there are numerous attractions too, such as, for instance, the Deer Park Paraciora in Badia, the Adventure Park and the Animal Park in Colfosco. And don't miss the weekly summer program of the project Summer for Kids, rich in guided hiking tours, games, barbecues and lots of other fun for children from 4 to 14 years old.
